→Sam Bradford (below), QB, OU: On a night he might have risen to the top of the Heisman watch, Bradford piled up more staggering stats. With a 48-yard scoring pass to Quentin Chaney, he passed Jason White for the most completions of 40 or more yards in school history with 30. Bradford also threw for five touchdowns, giving him six of OU’s 11 five-touchdown games all-time.
→Dominique Franks (below), DB, OU: It was a read indeed when Franks recognized a screen pass on Nebraska’s first play from scrimmage, jumping the route to pick off Huskers quarterback Joe Ganz and race 19 yards for a touchdown, giving OU a 14-0 lead just 2:37 into the game.
→Joe Ganz (below), QB, Nebraska: The Huskers quarterback was intercepted on two of Nebraska’s first three series, as the Sooners jumped out to a 28-0 lead. Ganz had his string of three straight 300-yard passing days snapped and his early miscues helped sink the Huskers into an insurmountable hole.
"Anytime a top-10 team goes down, it always helps you out. But we have Texas A&M next week so we can’t look forward to anyone except them.”
