Hot read.

→Sam Bradford (below), QB, OU: Sometimes, Bradford makes it look so easy it’s almost boring. Against A&M, he completed 22-of-33 passes for 320 yards and four touchdowns – each to a different receiver, including two to running backs.

→Aggies run game: Once upon a time, the Aggies were a rushing force. Against OU, A&M kept trying different runners. The Sooners kept stuffing them, holding the Aggies to 26 yards on 29 carries.

Loading the Box

→Austin Box (below), LB, OU: The redshirt freshman seems to be settling into his starting role as the replacement for Ryan Reynolds. Box produced his best game yet against A&M, totaling eight tackles, including one for loss, and picked off a pass.

Man in motion

→DeMarco Murray (below), RB, OU: The Sooner sophomore was off and running early, bolting 70 yards on the second play from scrimmage. On just seven carries, Murray ran for 123 yards – a 17.6 average per carry. He added 63 yards and a touchdown on seven receptions. Bum knee? What bum knee?

"The Sooners look almost unstoppable.”
