Were you surprised by De'Vante Harris' decision?

I talked to him on Twitter after he changed his mind. It was unexpected. He was someone who was committed before I was and I figured he was set. I forget sometimes that the high school kids still have time before they actually sign and can change their minds. He made a decision that he feels benefits him most and I can't fault him for that.

How much will being here for spring football help?

My plan is to go to work and prove myself as quickly as possible. I've proven what I could do at a junior college level. It's time to transfer it over to Oklahoma. In my eyes, it's great that I come in a semester early. I know I've got a lot of learning to do. It's to my advantage. Hopefully come summertime and the fall semester, I'll be fully ready to go.

How would you describe your game?

I think the biggest thing about me is the physical part I bring to the corner position. There aren't many corners that are very physical. That's something that sets me apart from the ordinary.
