Kendal Thompson: 2 percent
What Sooner fans are saying about OU's quarterbacks:
Les Kimbro, Ardmore: "It will be Landry because he'll have all that experience. Blake Bell might be a superstar, but Landry will have played a lot of games."
Richie Dunn, Benbrook, Texas: "I've seen Blake Bell on TV. He's the man, the real deal. He's really talented."
David Protus, Edmond: "Landry Jones is like Sam Bradford. He's not quite as good as Sam, but he's good. Blake Bell may move into the backup spot."
Jan Hatch, Norman: "I have confidence in Stoops to pick the best player for the team. It's not just about what you do on the field. It's about being a team leader. And if Landry has a good year, I think it'll be hard to take it away from him."
Dave Anderson, Ardmore: "I think (Jones) will be the starter. He got criticized a lot for getting sacked, but our offensive line had too many injuries. When he had time ... I think with a better offensive line, he'll do a real good job this year."
Matt Johnson, Lawton: "We've watched a lot of Blake Bell's highlights, and that guy's good."
Jeremy Morgan, Stillwater: "Blake Bell. He's a beast."
Matt Rice, Norman: "Landry Jones. I think it'll be the 'Stache. He's getting some Heisman talk this year. I think he'll have a good chance of winning next year."
Joe Fine, Ardmore: "If Landry has a good season, it's his to lose. It's all in his hands. Now, will he be pushed? I think that's good. I don't like a quarterback to get in that comfort zone where, 'It's mine.' I like the competition that's coming in, and what I've seen of Blake Bell at the high school level, he's going to push."
Chris Forbes, Tulsa: "Blake Bell has that NFL pedigree. A big arm. It looks like he's not going to redshirt. Blake Bell is just one of those once-in-a-blue-moon quarterbacks."
Terry Whitehead, Blackwell: "Landry was thrown into the fire. I think this year, you'll see a difference."
Trent Conrad, Edmond: "They built the offense around Sam Bradford, then Landry had to come in. That was tough. He'll be better this season."
Rod Arnett, Arkansas City, Kan.: "Living in Kansas, I've seen Blake Bell play a lot. He has great genes with his father and uncle both having played in the NFL. He has a great arm and very good speed."
Bryan Skinner, Norman: "Landry is more experienced. This will be the year for him to show he's the guy."
