OU-Florida State: What's different about the rematch?

The biggest difference is where the game is being played.

Some argue it's not a huge factor since both teams return 15 starters and the Sooners romped last season.

But the same thing could have been said when the Sooners lost road rematches after dominating UCLA, Colorado, Miami, Texas Tech, Nebraska and Texas A&M at home in previous meetings.

The biggest change at Florida State is EJ Manuel is the starting quarterback instead of Christian Ponder. That might not be a good trade off for OU even though Ponder was a first-round NFL Draft pick. Manuel is a dual-threat QB, sometimes an issue for the Sooners.

OU will start two new safeties and must replace DeMarco Murray, the school's all-time touchdown leader.
