“It's been good. He actually recruited me. I expected to come in here and play for him. But some things happened. Coach Wright is a character. You never really know what to expect.”

Coach Wright said he's been impressed by your work ethic this spring. Did maximizing your potential play a big role in your decision to return?

“Of course. If I would have left, I would be doing the same thing. You are always going to get maximum effort out of me. I'm trying to be one of the best there is out here. That's my goal. I got a lot of high goals and if I want to accomplish some of these goals that I've set for myself, I have to get better every day.”

Is there where your focus starts this spring?

“Exactly. To accomplish some things that I accomplished last year was good. I accomplished a lot of those goals, but I've raised that bar and I have higher expectations of myself.”

Do you have specific goals?

“I've wanted to accomplish being an all-conference and All-American. I want to be Jim Thorpe … you know, all the things other DBs want to do. Personally, I have some personal goals that I have set for myself as well.”
