OU football: Former Sooner linebacker Brian Bosworth left out of College Football Hall of Fame again

“My biggest concern is if I ever get in there, I would want my coach (Switzer) to be there. I would want him to be alive. And if it doesn’t happen and it ends up happening afterwards, man that’s an unforgivable crime to me.”

Two former state players on the NAIA portion of the ballot also didn’t make the hall of fame. Former UCO quarterback Randy Page, who led the Bronchos to the 1982 national title, and former Cameron defensive back Mark Cotney, were both left off the list of inductees.
