Lynn was asked if he expected the Sooners to play angry Saturday against Kansas.
“I think we're going to come out angry against everybody we play the rest of the year,” he said.
STOOPS PRAISES ALEXANDER
Starting in place of Nelson, freshman Dominique Alexander had plenty of opportunities Saturday, racking up 19 tackles.
Texas kept challenging Alexander, especially on third down.
“He's a young guy in there really doing well,” Stoops said. “Early on, he was out of position on a third down and on an early run a time or two. He's gonna keep getting better and Frank (Shannon), it's the same thing. They're playing really hard and really well.
“A time or two they missed where they needed to be and get a little wide. One some of the blocking schemes, they need to stay a little tighter. Those are things we have to keep getting better at.”
OU-TEXAS TECH KICKOFF SET
Oklahoma's Oct. 26 home game against Texas Tech will kick off at 2:30 p.m., the Big 12 announced Monday.
The Sooners game with the Red Raiders will be broadcast by Fox.
It will be the third time this season the Sooners have had a home game on Fox. OU's wins over West Virginia and TCU were both broadcast by the network, with both games kicking off at 6 p.m.
Oklahoma lost to Texas Tech the last time the teams met in Norman, 41-38 in 2011.
