Senior defensive tackle DeMarcus Granger hasn’t returned to the field since undergoing offseason back surgery and doesn’t plan to play until a decision on his medical hardship has been made.

Junior running back DeMarco Murray sat out Saturday’s win over Kansas despite practicing late in the week. Offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson still isn’t sure if the Sooners will have Murray for next week’s game against Kansas State.

Senior linebacker J.R. Bryant will redshirt this season, said defensive coordinator Brent Venables.

"Whatever they’re eating and drinking, it’s the right formula.”
