OU football notebook: Habern gets redshirt

As expected, Oklahoma center Ben Habern learned late last week that he has received a medical redshirt for last season, and will still have four years of eligibility remaining.

Habern, who at the moment is working with the first-team offensive line, suffered a broken toe at Baylor and missed the rest of last season.
