Coach Bob Stoops says he plans to have several freshmen contribute on various special teams units. Among those named included Javon Harris, Jaydan Bird, Demontre Hurst and Jonathan Miller.

Stoops singled out Miller's early work in the offense.

"Miller looked really good, explosive at running back and has a lot of power to him," Stoops said.

Senior linebacker Ryan Reynolds said he tweaked his hamstring, but the injury was minor and shouldn't keep him out. Junior running back DeMarco Murray was a partial participant in Wednesday's workout. Junior defensive end Pryce Macon did not practice. He was wearing a knee brace.
