Recruiting watch: Seantrel HendersonOne of the nation’s top recruits, offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson will make OU one of his five official visits and plans to travel to the OU-Texas game, according to his father, Sean Henderson. "He is going to the Oklahoma-Texas game just to watch," Sean Henderson told ESPN.com. "I’m not sure when he will make his official visit to Oklahoma.” Seantrel Henderson, (6-8, 300) of St. Paul, Minn., is the No. 1 overall prospect in the nation according to Rivals.com, and the No. 4 prospect according to ESPNU. Sean Henderson said his son also plans to take official visits to Ohio State, Florida, USC and Notre Dame. The Sooners currently have 21 verbal commitments for the class of 2010. By Jake Trotter
McCoy, who is on the watch list for the Outland Trophy (best lineman) and Chuck Bednarik Award (best defensive player) as well, was a second-team Associated Press All-American in 2008. Beal, also on the watch list for the Bednarik and Ted Hendricks Award (best defensive end), led the Sooners with 8 1/2 sacks and 15 1/2 tackles for loss last season. The winner will be announced Dec. 7. Two Sooners have won the Nagurski: safety Roy Williams in 2001, and cornerback Derrick Strait in 2003.
