EIGHTH OFFICIAL ADDED SATURDAY

Saturday's game against West Virginia will be the first in the Big 12 with an eighth official.

The league is the only one in the country using the additional official, who will be opposite the referee.

“I'm not real worried about it,” Bob Stoops said earlier this week.

The change was made to help with the fast-paced offenses in the Big 12 and could result in more holding calls.

“I hope not, unless they call it on them,” West Virginia coach Dana Holgerson told the Charleston (W.Va.) Daily Mail. “They hold a lot. We never hold.”

TAILGATE TOUR COMES TO NORMAN

The Allstate Tailgate Tour will be in Norman for Saturday's game.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. and run until 5:30 at Jenkins Avenue and Page Street in Norman.

The tour features games with a chance to win tailgate items, sign-making and other family-friendly activities.

Fans can also enter the “Allstate Ultimate Road Trip Sweepstakes.” One grand prize winner and three friends will win a VIP trip to the Sugar Bowl, where they will watch the game with Kirk Herbstreit, followed by a trip to the BCS National Championship in Pasadena, Calif. The winner will also receive a 2014 Buick Enclave.
