Harris was first-team All-Big 12 after recording 74 tackles, forcing two fumbles and intercepting two passes.

•Scoreboard construction to escalate: Work on the south end zone scoreboard at Gaylord Family — Oklahoma Memorial Stadium will intensify this week as a large crane is expected to be brought in today.

The crane will help in removing the primary pieces of the scoreboard. For the past two weeks, construction crews have focused on removing small pieces, including lights that displayed the time and score.

Replacing the old scoreboard will be a state-of-the-art, $4.5 million high definition video board, which should be finished before the Sooners' 2008 season opener against Tennessee-Chattanooga.

Oklahoma and Texas tied for the highest Academic Progress Rates among Big 12 football teams, each posting scores of 942.

The annual APR scores were released by the NCAA last week.
