oy plays at Oklahoma State on Sept. 27.

•Closed scrimmage today: Today, OU will conduct its second preseason scrimmage, which will be closed to the media and public. The first scrimmage last Saturday lasted more than two hours and comprised of an estimated 100 plays.

•Proving ground: Sooners receiver Juaquin Iglesias said he considers last year his breakout year — mentally and physically.

Now, he said, he's ready to reap the carryover.

"The No. 1 thing you can have is confidence,” said Iglesias, who set career highs for receptions, yards and touchdowns. "Knowing you did it before and you can do it again makes it become routine.

"Now, I just settle down and play. Before, I was kind of unsure about myself.”
