NORMAN — Oklahoma's schedule is much more manageable this season than it was in 2012, when the Sooners were all out of bye weeks before the month of October.

With this upcoming bye, the Sooners have two weeks to prepare for what will be a tough trip to Notre Dame on Sept. 28.

Here's a look at each of Oklahoma's remaining 2013 regular-season games:

AT NOTRE DAME, SEPT. 28

Current record: 2-1

Outlook: Oklahoma lost 30-13 at home last October to Notre Dame, making the Sooners' record 1-9 against the Irish. But after Saturday's games, OU looks like it's in great shape to pull off a rough road win in South Bend. Blake Bell had the offense clicking, the defense looks strong and Notre Dame barely managed to beat lowly Purdue.

Early pick: OU 31, Notre Dame 21

VS. TCU, OCT. 5

Current record: 1-2 (0-1 Big 12)

Outlook: The Horned Frogs looked like a legitimate Big 12 title contender in the preseason, but the first few weeks have exposed big problems. OU should handle TCU with relative ease.

Early pick: OU 31, TCU 14

VS. TEXAS, OCT. 12

(AT DALLAS)

Current record: 1-2 (0-0 Big 12)

Outlook: Texas coach Mack Brown fired defensive coordinator Manny Diaz two weeks ago after a beating at BYU. A week later, the Longhorns were routed at home by Ole Miss. Is there any reason to believe the 2013 Red River Rivalry won't turn out just like the last two?
