OU football position battles to watch

Wide receiver
→As many as five players could fill the two starting spots at wide receiver left vacant by the graduation of Manny Johnson and Juaquin Iglesias. Whoever wins those two jobs will have the benefit of catching passes from a Heisman Trophy winner.

Free safety
→Sam Proctor and Joseph Ibiloye are talented prospects, but neither has playing experience. Only one can win the starting job, but count on both seeing playing time this spring and in the fall.

Place-kicker
→Jimmy Stevens returns as the starter, but he will be pushed by redshirt freshman Tress Way as well as Norman North walk-on Bryce Easley, who is already enrolled at OU.
