OU Football Q&A: Sooners haven't done so well in bowl games lately

Why do you think the Sooners have been in a bowl slump the last five years? — Mike, Mustang

For whatever reason, OU has not brought the same us-against-the-world, backs-against-the-wall, kill-or-be-killed attitude to the bowl games that they have brought to the Red River Shootout and recently to the Big 12 Championship game.
