Oklahoma got its first addition to the signing class Wednesday morning when offensive tackle Kenyon Frison of West Valley City (Utah) Granger signed with the Sooners.

Frison (6-foot-5, 290 pounds) picked Oklahoma over Utah. He also had offers from Arizona State and Nebraska.

His signing has not yet been announced by Oklahoma.

Frison’s signing continued a strong finish for the Sooners, who picked up a commitment from Jenks safety Steven Parker on Tuesday and held on to defensive tackle Courtney Garnett earlier Wednesday.

Garnett had considered Notre Dame after taking a weekend visit.

Two Sooners targets remain–Douglass defensive end Deondre Clark and Fresno (Calif.) Central East athlete Michiah Quick.

Clark is expected to announce around 2 p.m. while Quick is expected to make his decision public around 5 p.m.
