Well before the 2014 football recruiting class has been wrapped up, Oklahoma is making good progress on the 2015 class.
The Sooners picked up their second 2015 commitment Wednesday when Allen, Texas, tight end Bobby Evans committed to OU.
Evans' older brother, Tay, committed to the Sooners for the 2014 class earlier this month.
“My baby brother just committed to OU,” Tay posted on Twitter to announce his brother's commitment.
Both are sons of former Oklahoma basketball player Bobby Joe Evans.
Bobby (6-foot-4, 240 pounds) also had offers from Ole Miss and Oregon State.
He joined his brother in Norman last week for a visit. Tay committed while on the visit. Bobby made another visit Wednesday, spending time with offensive coordinator Josh Heupel and offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh.
While Bobby is listed as a tight end, he is likely to play offensive tackle at Oklahoma.
Bobby joins Casady offensive guard Josh Wariboko-Alali as Sooners commits for 2015.
