OU Football: Stanvon Taylor 'committed strong' to Sooners

Associated Press Published: January 30, 2013

Tulsa East Central's Stanvon Taylor, a four-star cornerback prospect, shot down rumors that he might switch commitments from Oklahoma to Tulsa.
“A few schools are still coming after me, but I tell them that I’m committed strong to Oklahoma,” said Taylor, The Oklahoman's high school football Defensive Player of the Year, in an interview with the Tulsa World. “After I sign that letter of intent, there’s a lot of relief.”

Taylor led Class 5A in receptions with 67 (for 1,107 yards and 15 TDs). He was 5-of-7 passing for 202 yards and two touchdowns. He also starred at cornerback and as a returner.
