OU football: What the Sooners were saying after their 33-24 win over OSU

Oklahoma upset Oklahoma State 33-24 Saturday to improve to 10-2 on the season, securing Bob Stoops' 12th 10-win season of his 15-year tenure as OU's head coach.

Here's a look at what OU players and coaches had to say following the victory:

Junior defensive end Chuka Ndulue, on the atmosphere late in the game:

“I was praying hard. I was a very spiritual man today.”

Sophomore receiver Sterling Shepard, on the physical nature of Saturday's game:

“You know the history of the game. You know it's gonna be physical, especially early on. That's what we were expecting … and that's what we got.”

Senior center Gabe Ikard, on the weather's impact:

“No effect at all. Very little wind, just cold. Kinda what we like to call ‘linemen weather.' There weren't any drops or balls being fumbled or anything like that. Both teams handled it fine.”
