Three-star recruit Marshall Musil of LaCrosse, Kan., committed to Oklahoma on Thursday evening, bringing the Sooners' overall commitment total to 15.
Musil said he chose OU over Colorado State, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Missouri, TCU and Tulsa.
Musil is expected to play tight end for the Sooners.
"When we first got there, it felt comfortable for my whole family," he said. "We felt it was a fit for us."
Musil first visited Norman a couple of weeks ago during OU's football camp.
"They liked how I moved for my size," said Musil, who is 6-foot-2, 220 pounds. "I probably won't play my first year because they have a lot of good tight ends, but they said they liked my size and speed for special teams."
Musil was attracted to the Sooners' style of offense, which at times will use three tight ends in a single formation.
"Their pro-style offense will help me," he said.
Musil played running back and linebacker for LaCrosse High School last season, rushing for more than 700 yards and 17 touchdowns while totaling more than 200 receiving yards.
He compiled more than 50 tackles defensively, too.
