OU gets verbal commitment from offensive lineman Tyrus Thompson

The University of Oklahoma dipped into Longhorn country to reel in its third verbal commitment for the 2010 recruiting class.

Offensive lineman Tyrus Thompson , out of Pflugerville , Texas , which is a suburb of Austin , committed to the Sooners over the weekend, according to Rivals.

The 6-foot-6, 290-pound Thompson also had offers from Baylor, Houston and Texas Tech .
