Oklahoma freshman Alexandra Kaui sank a midrange putt on the final hole and raised her hands in the air, perhaps sarcastically, celebrating her only birdie of the day.
"She is always bubbly and fun," coach Veronique Drouin-Luttrell said. "She is definitely mad, but she will get over it and move on. I am sure when we get out of here (the interview room) that she will be out there practicing."
The individual leader through two of four rounds of the NCAA Women's Golf Championships at Tulsa Country Club, Kaui ran into trouble Thursday and wound up in a tie for 16th place. Her 10-over 80 day included a quadruple-bogey, a triple-bogey, a double-bogey and two bogeys.
