OU Medicine event challenges corporations

Hundreds of athletes from dozens of companies competed last weekend in the OU Medicine Corporate Challenge, the largest business-to-business athletic competition in the Oklahoma City area.

They ran. They swam. They tugged and tossed.

Hundreds of athletes from dozens of companies competed last weekend in the OU Medicine Corporate Challenge, the largest business-to-business athletic competition in the Oklahoma City area.

It was the 22nd annual event to bring together small and large companies to compete against companies of equivalent size in a variety of track and field events. Medals and trophies were awarded to the winning athletes and teams.

Lead sponsors for the three-day event were Chesapeake Energy, Farmers Insurance, Office Max, the Oklahoma City-County Health Department and OU Medicine.
