OU men's basketball notebook: Ryan Spangler's defense makes a difference

Clark scored 11 of his team-high 14 points in the first half, including a 3-pointer at the buzzer, to give the Sooners a comfortable lead going into the break.

“I just came out aggressive,” Clark said. “That is what we're going to need from our team — everybody attacking. That is what I did today. I came out and hit a couple of shots and then I got going.”

Clark was 4 of 6 from the floor in the first half.

UP NEXT: SETON HALL

The Sooners travel to Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Nov. 22 for the four-team tournament portion of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic.

Oklahoma will take on Seton Hall at 6 p.m. on truTV.

The next day, the Sooners will play either No. 2 Michigan State, which figures to move up to No. 1 after knocking off top-ranked Kentucky on Tuesday night, or Virginia Tech.
