/> The other two seasons — 2002 and 2006.

With Courtney Paris facing first-half foul trouble, Abi Olajuwon played some important minutes. The junior reserve came up with one point and two rebounds, but more than that, she held her own against Georgia Tech center Sasha Goodlett.

"She did the same thing Sunday night,” Robinson said of Olajuwon. "Grabbed some great boards for us. Played some great defense. That’s what we need.”

Paris had six blocks against Georgia Tech, moving into third place in NCAA history. With 434 career blocks, she is tied with former Duke center Alison Bales.

The Big 12 Conference has four teams in the Sweet 16 — OU, Baylor, Texas A&M and Iowa State.

Sooner coach Sherri Coale couldn’t be prouder.

"We become each other’s biggest fans as soon as that bracket comes up,” she said. "As soon as our game’s over, we’re running to see how Iowa State did, we’re running to see how Kansas State did.

"We want the Big 12 Conference to win and win and win.”
