The Sooners have 10 practices before heading overseas Aug. 6 to play in Belgium and France.

Oklahoma's practices are open to the public. The team practices at 2 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and at 10 a.m. Sunday and Aug. 5 before leaving.

Junior college transfers Edson Avila and Keshaun Hamilton are the only players not going through workouts before the trip. Avila and Hamilton, as Kruger expected when they signed, are finishing school work elsewhere and will join the team then they return from the trip.

Oklahoma senior center Gabe Ikard, on the Big 12 entering 2013:

“Top to bottom, it's right up there with the SEC and anyone in the country. We have a lot of great talent in the conference. It seems like a bunch of great quarterbacks graduated at the same time. But there still great teams in this conference. I'm excited to go through another season and compete for a Big 12 championship.”
