Wildcat gone awry

For the second straight game, Oklahoma featured the Wildcat package in the offensive gameplan, but a trick play from the formation cost the Sooners points in the fourth quarter.

Down 34-6 with just over 12 minutes to play in the game, junior running back DeMarco Murray took the snap and handed off to sophomore receiver Ryan Broyles.

Broyles sprinted toward the sideline before slowing and throwing a pass along the end zone's right sideline.

Texas Tech cornerback Jamar Wall, who was also involved in a hit last week that injured Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson, stepped in front of the pass for an interception and touchback, the Sooners' second turnover of the game.
