NORMAN — Oklahoma senior guard Tyler Evans reinjured the ACL in his right knee this week, coach Bob Stoops announced Thursday.

Evans tore his right ACL early in fall camp last August and redshirted through the 2012 season.

Stoops said the injury occurred during a drill at Tuesday's practice, and that Evans' knee will require a second surgery.

“Very unfortunate for him,” Stoops said, adding that Evans' football future is now uncertain.

Evans started 29 career games during his first three seasons on campus.
