and Oklahoma is No. 3 in the BCS, though many are predicting the Sooners will jump past Texas with a victory over No. 12 Oklahoma State today.

Austin Talbert, a UT sophomore journalism major, spearheaded Texas’ campaign this week to remind BCS voters about the Longhorns’ victory over the Sooners.

That campaign included the purchase of a flyover.

Thursday night, Talbert was interviewed by ESPN during Texas’ 49-9 win over Texas A&M.

Now, Tech fans want a chance to make their case for inclusion over Texas for a BCS bowl berth.

"We find it amusing they say they beat OU on a neutral site,” Walker said.

"We would’ve loved to have played OU on a neutral site. We would’ve loved to have seen what would’ve happened to Texas if they went to Norman.

"It seems like they’re not counting our victory over them because they dropped an interception at the end. But we went (62 yards) in the final minute. Does a championship team allow that kind of drive?”
