OU parking enforcement gets sterner
NORMAN — Starting Saturday, Norman police officers will start issuing tickets to people who violate parking restrictions near the University of Oklahoma on game days.
Fans are no longer allowed to park on both sides of campus-area residential streets, police said, because it was difficult for emergency vehicles to pass. The change took effect in August, and signs indicate where drivers may and may not park.
