OU receiver Ryan Broyles tears ACL, out for season

OKLAHOMA FOOTBALL — University of Oklahoma receiver Ryan Broyles tore his ACL in the Sooners win over Texas A&M and will miss the remainder of the season.

University of Oklahoma receiver Ryan Broyles tore his ACL in the Sooners win over Texas A&M. Broyles will miss the remainder of the season.

Broyles holds numerous school receiving records and set the national receiving touchdowns record earlier this season.

OU coach Bob Stoops said after the game that Broyles would likely have surgery in 2-3 weeks after the swelling goes down.

Stoops acknowledged Broyles would be hard to replace, but said "the offense will continue just like it has been."
