Offensive organization: D
Nebraska confused OU's offense all night, with Landry Jones running around changing the play late in the clock, sometimes having to use a timeout.

Tress Way: C
The lefty missed three field-goal attempts between 46 and 42 yards, but his five punts averaged 49 yards and generally kicked OU out of field-position trouble.
Run defense: B
Hard to knock a defense that gives up seven first downs, but Husker tailback Roy Helu was effective at times, with 138 yards on 20 carries.
Congeniality: A
That hospitality reputation is more than just talk. From the Husker hordes who lined up to get pre-game autographs from OU Heisman winners Jason White, Steve Owens and Billy Sims to the Nebraska fans who high-fived the Sooner players in pre-game warmups, Lincoln is a place like no other in college football.
Landry Jones: D
The rookie quarterback didn't always have time, but he threw five interceptions, including three in the fourth quarter.
Fourth-down decisions: A
OU was 0-for-3 on fourth down tries, but trying for the first down was the right play every time. The Sooners weren't making field goals, anyway.

for a 25% kicker. But thats not the only reason to Flunk him. The DO is afraid of him, but
we aren't. We don't play golf and hang around with him. We buy the tickets that help pay
his salary. It quit working for Stoops years ago, it just now caught up with him in a way
that he can't cover it up anymore. He only scored 3 points on the 68th rated team in the
country, in the Sagarin poll.
ou suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks!
This off-season may be the most important one in Stoops tenure. They need to address personnel problems on the field and philosophical problems among the coaches (namely, away game preparation, backup player quality, in-game adjustments and streaks of offensive predictability). These philosophical issues aren't new, but they've been spotlighted by the incredible number of injuries that have altered the whole season (Bradford, Gresham) and individual games (Broyles, Murray, Eldridge and others).
An elite team will suffer from circumstance and lose games... but 4 losses in the manner we have lost them goes beyond injury-based excuses. There are "head" problems at the top, and if OU is to improve, they must be addressed.
Boomer Sooner ! time for some Jermie Calhoun sooner-cat formations.
