The annual golf tournament is hosted by the Beta Theta chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at University of Oklahoma.

It’s the 12th year for the sorority to host the fundraiser. They had a silent auction before the tournament to raise more money.

There were 220 golfers who played in Sunday’s tournament at Westwood Golf Course, said Maggie Murdock, Kappa Kappa Gamma philanthropy chair. The sorority has worked with J.D. McCarty Center for several years, raising more than $163,000 for the children’s hospital, said Murdock.

"We are grateful for the support the Kappas have shown us over the years,” said Uwe von Schamann, director of development for the McCarty Center. "They have not only been generous with their financial support, but also with their time and talents as volunteers at the hospital.”
