NORMAN – The kickoff time for the OU football Spring Game has been moved to 1:30 p.m., 30 minutes earlier than previously scheduled. Stadium gates will open at 12 p.m.

Tickets for the spring game are available by calling (405) 325-2424 or toll-free at (800) 456-4668. Students with a current OU ID will be admitted free of charge. Sooner Kids Club members and children age five and under are also free.

The inaugural Big Boomer BBQ will continue as planned, beginning at 10:30 a.m. immediately north of Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. At that time, live music from Banana Seat, kids' amusement rides and the OU Spring Merchandise Sale will all commence.

The Autograph Zone of the Big Boomer BBQ has been removed from Saturday’s itinerary, but a free, 45-minute postgame autograph session with OU football players currently remains on the schedule. The autograph session will be available only to those fans who attend the game. No postgame-only access will be permitted.

The “Tweet Up” with OU personalities at the Big Boomer BBQ remains scheduled for 11 a.m. Beginning at 11:30 a.m., fans can enjoy the signature feature of the Big Boomer BBQ event as local purveyors such as Earl’s Rib Palace, Head Country Barbecue, Sooner Legends and Homeland/Cargill (cooked by Kingfisher Kookers) begin serving with tickets available for $10 to obtain barbeque from all four vendors. There is an additional cost for side items and beverages.

Vendors scheduled to participate in the OU Spring Merchandise Sale include the OU Equipment Room, OU Bookstore, Bedlam Sports, Big Red Shop, Boomer Town, Fans Edge, Jason White's Stores and the OU Alumni Store.
