/> Last week, his high school coach, Ray Bonner, said he wouldn't rule out advising Jarboe on attending a Football Championship Subdivision school, like Georgia Southern or Savannah State, to keep him out of the spotlight while he works on improving his academics and straightening out his life. Bonner is one of Jarboe's closest mentors and will probably have a large role in helping him land on his feet.

Q: Could Jarboe end up at a Football Bowl Subdivision school?

A: He will be viewed as a risk, but that hasn't prevented big-time schools from taking chances on players before. Jarboe also was recruited by Florida, Georgia and LSU, though the school to keep an eye on is Central Florida. Jarboe took an official visit there before settling on the Sooners.
