OU student’s death is investigated

NORMAN — Authorities are investigating the death of a University of Oklahoma student whose body was found Sunday on the Norman campus.

Casey Cooke, of Edmond, was found unresponsive shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday east of Evans Hall, OU spokeswoman Catherine Bishop said. Emergency medical personnel administered CPR but were unable to revive her.

Cooke, 22, earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology and was pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in Spanish while studying for the Medical College Entrance Exam. Richard Cooke said his daughter...
