NORMAN--Oklahoma sophomore wide receiver Trey Metoyer was charged with two felony counts of indecent exposure in Cleveland County, according to a probable cause affidavit filed Tuesday.
According to the affidavit, Metoyer exposed himself to two different women in separate incidents.
On Aug. 29, a woman said she was smoking on a balcony at a Norman apartment complex when she saw a black or Hispanic male back into a parking spot in a Grand Am, expose himself and masturbate while sitting in the car.
The incident happened two days before the Sooners' season opener against Louisiana-Monroe.
According to the affidavit, a woman was walking her dog Sept. 17 when she was approached by a black male who asked if he could borrow a pen. The woman went into her apartment to retrieve a pen and when she came outside, the man was masturbating in front of her apartment.
After the second incident, which occurred in the same apartment complex as the first, detective Derrick Hopkins developed a lead that made him believe Metoyer, referred to in the affidavit by his first name David, was the suspect.
Hopkins presented a photo lineup to the second victim on Oct. 3. She identified Metoyer as the suspect.
When Hopkins visited Metoyer's apartment in the same complex, he saw a Grand Am connected to Metoyer. After taking photos of the vehicle, Hopkins interviewed Metoyer.
