— Oklahoma's schedule doesn't allow it much time to recover from Saturday's Bedlam loss.

But the toughest part of Monday's game won't be the quick turnaround; it'll be the opponent.

The Sooners host defending national champion Baylor at 6 p.m. inside Lloyd Noble Center, where OU faces the tall task — literally — of slowing down All-American center Brittney Griner and the No. 1-ranked Bears.

Oklahoma has lost three of its last four games entering Monday.

“We have to regroup, obviously, and go compete,” Coale said. “We really competed against Baylor at their place, and that's what I want our guys to do. They're obviously an incredibly talented team. They're incredibly deep.”

Following Saturday's 83-62 loss at Oklahoma State, junior guard Aaryn Ellenberg was asked about the quick turnaround.

“I don't know if that really makes a difference,” Ellenberg said. “We're gonna be ready for anything we have, pretty much.”

Oklahoma (19-8 overall, 9-6 Big 12) has spent most of this season struggling through difficult injuries and — while freshman guard Nicole Kornet's involvement has increased of late — the Sooners haven't gotten much production from their bench.
