NORMAN — OU football and big business intersected again at the university’s regents meeting Wednesday, and Bob Stoops was there as usual, Tulsa World reports.

The Sooners’ coach attended to promote the University of Oklahoma’s $370 million stadium renovation master plan. While he was there, the regents approved his revised seven-year contract. It is worth $39.9 million, $5.25 million of which Stoops will receive this year, making him the second-highest paid coach in college football behind Nick Saban, Alabama’s $6.9 million man.
