Too bad for Kansas State, he was in uniform Saturday.

Murray had three touchdowns, including two critical ones in the fourth quarter, to help lead the Sooners to a 42-30 win.

"I wasn't sure I was going to play this game until we were stretching," said Murray, who was limited in practice all week. "It was tough missing last week. It was a great rest for my body, but it was hard to watch."

Murray, who suffered the sprained ankle two weeks ago against Texas, also ran for a hard 62 yards on 15 carries and caught four passes for 28 yards.

"He's not quite at full strength, but he's still powerful," coach Bob Stoops said. "A lot of those short-yardage situations, he has the power to pick them up."

LOL Ken, yes he can probably outrun both of us! He is a good blocker but I am anxious to see those 2 behind him get more time. I was hopeful at the beginning of the season about Brown being faster but after seeing him get run down in the Miami game when he broke the tackle at the goal line I figured he hadn't changed much. Good runner and blocker but I really like the 2 behind him. Both seem very explosive. Murray is a true trooper, maybe one of my favorite backs of all time.

Murray is playing maybe the best he ever has. He is consistently willing his way to additional yards almost every time he touches the ball. Boomer !

Chris Brown doesn't fumble. And, he does more good than bad when he gets good blocking. But he does seem slow at times. I bet he can run a lot faster than I can.

I suspect Brown may be the 4th best back on the team. He is certainly the slowest. Getting run down from behind again inside the 10. It continues to be insanity running him out of the I in any situation, especially 4th and one. Time to bench him.

My hopes are DeMarco can finish this season on a high note. I have a suspicion he will be a real diamond for some NFL team which has been paying attention.

Couldn't figure out why Murray wasn't in the line-up in 4Q when OU had to get a first down to keep the ball away from KSU. Murray and Brown are not interchangeable- Murray is better. Give him the ball.

Murray is awesome. I just hope he doesn't get dinged up again before the post-season. For once, I would like for OU to have all of it's starters healthy in the post-season. Of course, we still have to win at least one more game to worry about that this year, don't we? Nebraska will be tough in Lincoln. Tech and O-State will not be cake-walks. BOOMER SOONER!!!!!

Murray is the best running back in the Stoops era not named Adrian Peterson.

I absolutely love to watch Murray play. He has great passion, incredible strength, and a warrior mentality. Imagine if he was healthy, what he could do? He will be a great NFL back.
