Defensive tackle DeMarcus Granger injured his left leg in the second quarter during apparent retaliatory measures taken by the Washington offensive line.

On the previous play, Granger shoved Washington right guard Casey Bulyca to the turf after a Husky false start. Granger was flagged 15 yards for a personal foul, which sparked a shoving match between the two sides.
On the following play, Granger was taken down by three Husky offensive linemen, during which he injured his leg. While the play was still going on, left guard Jordan White-Frisbee punched Granger, who was pinned on his back.
Locker was also injured on the play, having the wind knocked out of him by linebacker Ryan Reynolds.
Unable to put pressure on the leg, Granger was helped off the field by trainers before being carted off from the sideline to the locker room.
He returned to the field on crutches and wearing a protective boot late in the third quarter.
As of press time, Granger's status was still unknown.
