Broyles said Wednesday he plans to file paperwork and game film with the NFL draft advisory committee, which provides draft projections to underclassmen to provide them an idea of where they'll be selected should they leave early.
“I'm not ready to disclose that information,†Broyles said. “I love playing here. I've thought about it a little bit, but I haven't decided what I want to do. I've still got one game left. I'll send my paperwork in and see where it goes from there. I'm not going to make any decision until after the bowl game for sure.â€
Lewis will probably also file paperwork with the NFL draft advisory committee. But defensive coordinator Brent Venables is advising Lewis to return for his senior season.
“He can speak for himself, but he needs to come back and improve himself in a variety of areas, and not go somewhere for a discount,†Venables said. “He's had a very good year, but I think Travis is not easily satisfied when he self-evaluates. He knows there's more for him to have. He wants to dominate the game, and feels like he's capable of doing that if he's purposeful in what he does the next six-to eight-months.â€
