Oklahoma offensive tackle Trent Williams and defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and Oklahoma State offensive tackle Russell Okung were named to the watch list Tuesday for the Outland Trophy, given to the top lineman in college football.

Williams, a first-team All-Big 12 selection as a right tackle last season, is moving to left tackle this year to protect quarterback Sam Bradford's blindside.

McCoy, also a first-team All-Big 12 selection in 2008, finished last year with 30 tackles, including 11 for loss and 6 sacks.

Okung, on the All-Big 12 first team as well last season, is entering his fourth year as a starter for OSU. Okung would be the first Cowboy to win the Outland.

Sooner players have captured the Outland five times: Jim Weatherall (1951), J.D. Roberts (1953), Lee Roy Selmon (1975), Greg Roberts (1978) and Jammal Brown (2004).
