The Chisholm Trail Expo Center in Enid will be the site Aug. 24-25 of the second annual Greater Oklahoma Sportsman's and Outdoor Expo.
Sponsored by Chisholm Trail Promotions, the show will feature dozens of exhibitors with hunting and fishing products along with taxidermists and outfitters.
Don “Katt Daddy” Brewer and Scooter Bivins of the former television series “Mudcats” will be at the show with a noodling tank. Outside the arena, freestyle motocross rider Kenny Bartram of Stillwater, an X-Games gold medalist, will perform three shows daily.
Admission to the show, which is held on the Garfield County fairgrounds, is free. Show hours are 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Aug. 24 and 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Aug. 25.

DUCK BLIND DRAWINGS SET FOR DRAPER, OVERHOLSER LAKES
The Oklahoma City Police Department's annual drawing for duck blinds on Lake Overholser and Lake Draper will be Sept. 11 and Sept. 14.
The drawing for spots on Lake Overholser will begin at 8 p.m. on Sept. 11 at the Lake Overholser pavilion, 1200 E. Overholser Drive. The drawing for Draper Lake will begin at 10 a.m. on Sept. 14 at the lake marina, located east of SE 104th and W. Draper Drive.
Participants must be age 18 or older and hold a current Oklahoma City hunting permit and an Oklahoma state hunting license. Oklahoma City hunting permits can be bought before the drawing at the sites. The permits are $3 daily or $12.50 annually.
A copy of the duck blind locations and hunting regulations will be posted at each site. All hunting must be from designated blinds. No bank hunting or hunting from watercraft is allowed.
All watercraft used to transport hunters to and from blinds must have a current city boating permit.

OKLAHOMA RIFLE ASSOCIATION'S STATE CONVENTION ON SATURDAY
The 2013 Oklahoma Rifle Association's state convention will be Saturday in Norman at the Holiday Inn.
Registration begins at noon and seminars start at 1 p.m. The awards banquet begins at 7 p.m. and includes a silent auction.
Keynote speaker at the banquet will be KTOK radio talk show host Lee Matthews.

SHOOT SPORTING CLAYS FOR DUCKS UNLIMITED
The Ducks Unlimited Frontier Shoot will be Saturday at Silverleaf Shotgun Sports in Guthrie.
Registration starts at 7 a.m. Ticket prices are $100 per individual or $400 for a team of four shooters.

NWTF GUN BASH SCHEDULED IN MIDWEST CITY
The Oklahoma State Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will hold its ninth annual “Gun Bash” Saturday at the Reed Conference Center in Midwest City, 5800 Will Rogers Road.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Only 200 tickets will be sold at a cost of $250 per ticket. Each ticket holder may bring a guest to the banquet for an additional meal-only price of $30.
The $250 ticket price includes dinner and a one-in-four chance to win prizes, including guns and hunting trips.
Money raised from the event is used for the NWTF's “Wounded Warrior Program,” which provides hunting trips for injured soldiers.

The Central Oklahoma 89ers chapter of Quail Forever will hold a fundraising banquet Saturday at Embassy Suites, 1815 S Meridian.
