Two Oklahoma teens will represent the state this week in the Central Region BASS Federation Nation tournament on Missouri’s Table Rock Lake.

Treven Hightower, 15, of Sand Springs, and Trevor Yates, 13, of Norman, won their respective age groups last month in the Oklahoma Bass Federation Nation Championship on Lake Konawa.

The two teens will be members of the Oklahoma team competing in the Table Rock Lake Divisional. The tournament is Wednesday through Friday.

The kids fish on Friday with the adult anglers, and their weights are added to the team score to determine the champion.

Hunting land to be auctioned
More than 600 acres of hunting land in Ofuskee County will be sold Saturday at a public auction. Troy Lippard, auctioneer, said the property is on Route 2 in Okemah and will be offered in five tracts ranging from 80 to 200 acres or as a whole.

New game warden named
The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation promoted Robert Fleenor to head its law enforcement division.
