Schedule your eagle viewing

The Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge on Monday will begin accepting reservations for eagle viewing tours in January and February.

Participants will be taken by bus to areas of the refuge to search for bald and golden eagles. Binoculars are recommended.

Reservations are required. For more information, call the refuge visitor center at (580) 429-2151 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. beginning Monday.

Tours will last about three hours and participants must be at least 8 years of age. Fee is $5.
