Aug. 13, Dave Matthews at Bricktown Ballpark,
Life is short but sweet for certain, that is a fact. So don’t miss out on one of OKC’s most anticipated concerts of the summer.

A couple of setbacks have not stopped the band from jamming all summer earning them a spot near the top of Pollstar’s top tours chart. As the band was packing up the bus, keyboardist Butch Taylor parted ways with the group. And then the band’s iconic saxophone blower punctured a lung in an ATV accident. While the keyboards have been left off the stage for the remainder of the tour, Jeff Coffin of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones is sitting in for LeRoi Moore since his late-June accident.

No doubt a blow to the morale of the band to have a good friend so seriously injured, they have kept loyal fans dancing. And much to the delight of those in OKC, this year they can save a little gas money – minimize their carbon footprint, if you will.

If you don’t have a ticket yet, they can still be had. And, if you purchase your through Ticketmaster you’ll get dibs on a live highlight album of this year’s tour to be posted on iTunes for free in mid-Sept – a month later and for a fee for the rest of the world.
